Record the version and existing changes before editing. Rewind does not replace Git or a data backup. Choose recovery based on what actually changed.
Restoring a draft cannot recall an already delivered order.
Restore the right thing
A file copy can restore code. Git cannot unsend an email or undo a remote write. Preserve existing work before restoring.

Practice
Open Mini Helpdesk locally and record the baseline.
Read only README.md, model.mjs and tests/build.test.mjs in lab. Explain ticket creation plainly; distinguish setup problems from deliberate bugs. Do not edit code or install anything.
